For NFL Week 1 of 2017, we will identify possible sleepers sitting on your bench or the waiver wire

Welcome to Fantasy Football 2017! We are very excited to welcome back the NFL season, and another exciting year of fantasy football.

Here at ReportsDFS, we offer in-depth fantasy football analysis. One of our key weekly articles is - fantasy football sleepers.

This analysis is aimed at finding unrated players, who are sitting on your bench or waiver wire. We don't point out the obvious. We dig deep into fantasy football ownership and starting percentage numbers  to find value.

For week 1 of the fantasy football season, here are some sleepers which are not receiving their deserved attention...

(all of these starting percentages can be found in our ownership and starting percentage tool .

Carson Wentz (QB) - 5.1% starting

  • Retooled weapons around him (Wideouts Jeffery and Torrey Smith)...
  • Faces WAS - who ranked 14th vs QBs in 2016 ...
  • This matchup looks to provide solid offensive stats.
  • Projected stat line - 300 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT
  • Wentz is a butting star, who might break top 10 in QB fantasy output in 2017...
  • Start him before Dak Prescott (vs NYG)

Danny Woodhead (RB) - 9.7% starting

  • New role in Baltimore offense has yet to be determined...
  • We will bet its going to be a big one.
  • Expect Danny to get 6-8 targets, minimum
  • Especially in PPR leagues, he deserves RB2 status
  • Could see a 5 reception, 60+ yard day...maybe a score
  • Start him before - Frank Gore (71%), Joe Mixon (58% starting), Rob Kelly (39.9%) and Trevin Coleman (24.9%)

Jonathan Steward (RB) - 28.9% starting

  • Faces a pourous 49er defense in Week 1...
  • Christian Mcaffery has stolen all the headlines, but Stewart will still get his fill...
  • In the projected highest scoring fantasy game of week 1...
  • Expect Stewart to get 20+ carries...which he will make the most of.
  • Start him before - Frank Gore (71%), Joe Mixon (58%), Rob Kelly (39.9%)

Good luck in Week 1...and be sure to reach out to us  with any questions!
